BioBot Terms

BioBot is offered only for business, professional, or institutional use. By purchasing, you confirm that you are acting in a professional or business capacity.

1. Service

Foxy Bio provides BioBot, a cloud service for AI-guided single-cell research analysis. BioBot is for research use only and must not be used for clinical diagnosis or treatment decisions. Results should be reviewed by a suitably qualified person before they are relied upon.

2. Accounts and trial

Users must provide accurate account and organization information and keep access credentials secure. A new account receives one 14-day trial with 10,000 credits. The trial uses preview mode and permits uploads up to 500 MiB. It requires no payment method and does not automatically convert into a paid plan.

3. Prices, subscriptions, and top-ups

Paid plans and top-ups are priced in EUR. Current prices, billing periods, credits, plan features, and terms are shown before purchase. Any taxes charged are shown at Checkout and on the invoice. Subscriptions renew automatically for their monthly or yearly billing period until cancelled.

Included subscription credits reset at the next paid billing period and do not roll over. A one-time top-up adds purchased compute credits but does not change plan features, full-data access, or upload limits. Computational work may consume credits, including failed jobs where computing resources were already used.

4. Cancellation

Subscriptions can be cancelled through the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Plan access and unused included subscription credits then end; purchased top-up credits remain available under the features of the user's effective plan.

5. Refunds

Payments are generally non-refundable once credits or service have been provided. Foxy Bio may issue a refund for duplicate charges, material service failures, or other justified cases at its discretion. Contact georg@foxybio.com with the account email and payment details.

6. Research data and permitted use

Users must not upload personal data, including identifiable or pseudonymised patient or donor data or genetic or health information relating to an identifiable person. Users may upload non-personal research data and genuinely anonymised data and are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to do so. BioBot must not be used unlawfully, to interfere with the service, or to access another user's data.

7. Availability and changes

BioBot is under active development. Features, limits, supported analyses, and prices may change for future use or billing periods. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability and may suspend access where necessary for security, maintenance, misuse, or unpaid charges.

8. Data and results

Users retain their rights in uploaded data. Foxy Bio retains its rights in BioBot and its software. Users may use generated results for their professional research, subject to third-party rights and these terms.
